{"id":15485,"date":"2024-12-31T09:05:55","date_gmt":"2024-12-31T07:05:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eoal.org.cy\/?p=15485"},"modified":"2026-04-21T23:54:57","modified_gmt":"2026-04-21T20:54:57","slug":"operation-of-the-troulloi-green-point-aradippou-municipality","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eoal.org.cy\/en\/operation-of-the-troulloi-green-point-aradippou-municipality\/","title":{"rendered":"Operation of the Troulloi Green Point &#8211; Aradippou Municipality"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\nThe District Local Government Organization of Larnaka (DLGOL) informs the public that on Friday, 3 January 2025, the Troulloi Green Point of Aradippou Municipality will become operational.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThis Green Point is one of the seven Green Points in Larnaka District.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Days of Operation:<\/strong> Tuesday and Friday<br \/>\n<strong>Winter Operating Hours:<\/strong> 09:00 \u2013 17:00<br \/>\n<strong>Summer Operating Hours:<\/strong> 09:00 \u2013 18:00\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe Troulloi Green Point is located south of the Monastery of Saint George of Mavrovouni:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/QcZMNpB49FUaXRCZ9\"><br \/>\nhttps:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/QcZMNpB49FUaXRCZ9<br \/>\n<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe operation of the Green Point aims to promote responsible recycling, reduce waste generation and address the uncontrolled disposal of household waste.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nIt is clarified that Green Points serve only private citizens and not professionals, companies or organizations.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nCitizens are reminded that they can dispose of specific household waste free of charge, including televisions and electronic devices, mattresses, furniture, garden waste and other materials that cannot be disposed of in regular household waste bins.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe project entitled \u201cImprovement and Expansion of the National Network of Green Points and Creation of Collection Points and Recycling Corners\u201d was implemented by the Department of Water Development \u2013 Solid Waste Management Service (SWMS) and is funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP).\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe Larnaka \u2013 Famagusta Development Company has been managing the Green Points of Larnaka since May 2020, initially on behalf of the Larnaka \u2013 Famagusta Waste Disposal Site Management Board until 30\/06\/2024 and, from 01\/07\/2024, on behalf of DLGOL.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nMore information about the Green Points can be found on the DLGOL website:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.eoal.org.cy\">www.eoal.org.cy<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The District Local Government Organization of Larnaka (DLGOL) informs the public that on Friday, 3 January 2025, the Troulloi Green Point of Aradippou Municipality will become operational.
