The water is supplied to consumers in the municipalities and communities served by the Larnaka Water Supply Authority through a pipeline network of approximately 1127 km, of which 91 km constitutes the transmission network and 1037 km the distribution network. The transmission network consists of main pipelines with diameters ranging from 200–700 mm, while the distribution network consists of smaller pipelines ranging from 80–300 mm.

A large part of the network is still constructed from asbestos-cement pipes, although for many years ductile iron pipes have been used for main pipelines and plastic pipes (uPVC) for the secondary network. Polyethylene pipes with diameters of 15–25 mm are used for domestic connections, while larger diameter pipes may be used for major consumers such as hotels, industries and organized complexes.
