From July 1st 2024, the Water Supply, Sewerage, Solid Waste Management and Development Licensing services will be consolidated to provide faster service to the public and reduce bureaucracy.
The District Local Government Organization of Larnaka (DLGOL) will be responsible for the services that were previously provided by the Larnaka Water Supply Board and the Larnaka Sewerage Board, as well as the Larnaka District Waste Disposal or Household Waste Utilization Board (the latter will be in place from 2027, except for the management of Green Spots, which will be directly taken over by DLGOL). In addition, the responsibilities of the DLGOL will also transfer to the DLGOL the permitting of development from the Provincial Planning Offices, Municipalities and the Provincial Administration.

General information on water and sewerage bills
More information on the amount of DLGOL’s charges, fees and charges, as well as the issuing of certificates for transfer purposes, can be found on the DLGOL website.
- If you wish to receive your water and/or sewerage bill electronically, you can register via the DLGOL website ( eoal.org.cy ), by sending a request to csd@eoal.org.cy or by calling 24 501000.
Alternatively, you can submit your request at the service points listed above, or contact us by phone at 24 501 000 or by e-mail at csd@eoal.org.cy
If you already receive your bill electronically, then there is no need to submit a new request to DLGOL.
For additional information on overdue bills and water supply interruptions, you can receive SMS messages by submitting a request at DLGOL’s counters, sending an e-mail to csd@eoal.org.cy or by phone at 24 501000.
- Electronic payment of water and sewerage charges
Water and sewerage bills can be paid electronically via the DLGOL website at eoal.org.cy , via jccsmart.com and via Internet Banking available from your Banking Institution.
- Payment of bills by automatic bank order
Existing bank orders for the payment of water and sewerage bills will be transferred to DLGOL and will continue to be executed unless you wish to cancel them.
For a new registration of account payment via automatic bank order, modification of details or cancellation of an existing order, you should visit the service points listed above or inform us in writing, either by post to 12 Adamantiou Korai, P.O. Box 40211,6302 Larnaka or by email to csd@eoal.org.cy.
- Debts on water supply bills of Municipalities/Communities
Bills issued by a Municipality/Community concerning debts from consumption or supply of water or water supply installation before 1 July 2024 will not be payable to DLGOL. For payment of such debts you should contact the relevant Municipalities/Communities.
- Frequency of DLGOL bills
a) Water bills
The water bill, including sewerage charges where applicable, will be sent to you quarterly. In some municipalities/communities, the 1st billing period may be delayed due to data transfer from the previous water authority.
b) Sewer bills
For the year 2024, the sewage and stormwater sewer bill will be sent in one installment, by September 2024, and will be due by November 30 of that year.
- Rate Option for water bills
The DLGOL offers the following rates:
- Residential Pricing
- Commercial and Industrial Pricing (for consumption above 150 m3 / trimester)
- Pricing for Vulnerable Consumers (e.g. public assistance recipients)
- Pricing for Public/Community Land and Livestock purposes
Pricing changes are made upon request and subject to relevant criteria being met. For more information, please visit our website.
- Guarantees
Monetary guarantees deposited with your municipality/community are not transferable to the DLGOL, so you will need to contact your municipality/community for their return.
- Apartment complexes – Central meter billing
For complexes with a central meter, the difference in consumption is charged proportionally to the individual subdivisions. We encourage management committees to request an independent meter for communal uses (gardens, swimming pools, etc.).
Electronic Payments of Development Permit Fees
Planning and building permit application fees are only payable electronically through the IPPODAMOS system on the website hippodamus.tph.moi.gov.cy which will lead to the jccsmart.com page
