Information for citizens/students on the “Hippodamus” system

The District Local Government Organization of Larnaka (DLGOL), due to the accumulated phone calls it receives daily regarding the computerized system “HIPPODAMUS”, urges citizens and scholars that for questions related to system entry, registration, and the submission/registration of applications, they should send an email to ippodamos@tph.moi.gov.cy. Depending on the issue, the email will be handled and answered immediately by a competent official.

At the same time, the public/designers are recommended to study beforehand the two manuals of the Ministry of Interior: a) Manual of Urban Planning Control and b) Manual of Building Permit, which are posted on the DLGOL website at
https://eoal.org.cy/ypiresies/adeiodotisi/egcheiridia/.
The two manuals provide full guidance and important information for applicants on the procedures to be followed in order to submit as complete an application as possible.

It is recalled that, as part of the actions of the Ministry of Interior for the modernization and digitalization of the services related to this issue, the simplification and acceleration of the issuance of permits through the HIPPODAMUS system is promoted from July 1st, 2024. This provides for the electronic submission, examination, and issuance of the Planning Permit and the Building Permit, after payment of the required fees.

Development Permit and Building Permit application fees are payable only electronically through the HIPPODAMUS system on the website
hippodamus.tph.moi.gov.cy,
through which interested parties are directed to
jccsmart.com.
