The District Local Government Organization of Larnaka (DLGOL) informs the public that on Friday, 3 January 2025, the Troulloi Green Point of Aradippou Municipality will become operational.

This Green Point is one of the seven Green Points in Larnaka District.

Days of Operation: Tuesday and Friday
Winter Operating Hours: 09:00 – 17:00
Summer Operating Hours: 09:00 – 18:00

The operation of the Green Point aims to promote responsible recycling, reduce waste generation and address the uncontrolled disposal of household waste.

It is clarified that Green Points serve only private citizens and not professionals, companies or organizations.

Citizens are reminded that they can dispose of specific household waste free of charge, including televisions and electronic devices, mattresses, furniture, garden waste and other materials that cannot be disposed of in regular household waste bins.

The project entitled “Improvement and Expansion of the National Network of Green Points and Creation of Collection Points and Recycling Corners” was implemented by the Department of Water Development – Solid Waste Management Service (SWMS) and is funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP).

The Larnaka – Famagusta Development Company has been managing the Green Points of Larnaka since May 2020, initially on behalf of the Larnaka – Famagusta Waste Disposal Site Management Board until 30/06/2024 and, from 01/07/2024, on behalf of DLGOL.
