PRELIMINARY LIST

The District Local Government Organization of Larnaka (DLGOL) announces, in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation of Employment of Employees of Indefinite and Fixed-term Employment Law of 2016 (Law No. 70(I)/2016), the following preliminary list of applicants in order of ranking, for the employment of one (1) fixed-term employee for the performance of duties of Executive Engineer (Cl. A9-A11-A12) for the needs of the Larnaka District Municipality.

According to the vacancy notice as published in the Official Gazette of the Republic No. 5651 on 21/06/2024, the selected person will sign a 6-month contract, which may be renewed, with a maximum period of employment of five (5) years or the completion of the projects for which he/she will be employed.

Pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 6(a) of the aforementioned Law, any interested applicant is entitled to file an objection against the preliminary list within a period of fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. The objections may be sent by e-mail to the address, info@eoal.org.cy and the subject of the e-mail should be “Objection to the preliminary list for the position of Temporary Employee at the Larnaka District Municipality”, or by fax to the number 24650005. Late objections will not be considered.

It should also be noted that only applicants who have met all the required qualifications and have been ranked on the basis of the evaluation criteria as set out in the vacancy notice are included in the list.
