HERMES AIRPORTS LTD. has submitted an application to obtain planning consent for the implementation of the Larnaka International Airport expansion within the designated areas for the purpose of airport development in Larnaka District. Within the framework of securing the planning consent, HERMES AIRPORTS LTD. has commissioned LA SOLAS SERVICES Ltd. to prepare an Environmental Impact Assessment Study for the Larnaka International Airport expansion projects.
In order to enable the interested public to submit any comments and suggestions related to the environmental impact of the project from its construction and operation, the draft Environmental Impact Assessment Study prepared by LA SOLAS SERVICES Ltd is published.

According to Article 26(7) of Law 127(I)/2018, “Before submitting a Study, the developer is required to conduct a public consultation and at least one public presentation before finalizing its content, in order to give the local government authority concerned and the public the opportunity to provide comments and suggestions on the project’s impact on the environment”.
The public presentation will take place on Wednesday 30 October 2024 at the Larnaka House of Arts and Letters at 6:00 pm. For better organization of the public presentation, those interested in attending are kindly requested to register their participation at:
