The President of District Local Government Organization of Larnaka (DLGOL) and the Mayor of Larnaka visited this morning areas where full asphalt paving works are being carried out on roads where Larnaka Sewerage Board (LSB) works had been carried out. The works started yesterday from Hamit Bey Street and are continuing today in the Ayios Lazaros area.

Specifically, they will cover the streets of Solon, Amathuntos, Palaipafou, Katoli and Georgiou, Apolloniou Kitieos, Rimini, Stalingrad, Spartis, Diogenous, 28th of October, El Alamein, Fleming, Paster, Hippocratous, Onesilou and Okkular’.

Regarding the execution of the asphalt paving works, the Larnaka Drainage Board (LDB) signed on 24/05/2024 a cooperation contract with the contractor CYFIELD Asphalt Co. Ltd for the amount of € 1,605,000 plus VAT. The District Local Government Organization of Larnaka has undertaken the implementation of the project.

Indicatively, the works will continue until next week and will cover roads in the area of Mitropoleos-Soteros Square (including Nicodemou Mylona, Vasili Michaelide, Kimonos and a part of Christaki Ptochopoulou Street) and west of Agion Anargyron Avenue and in the area of Agion Anargyron Avenue and Alexandrou Panagouli Avenue.
